I've just finished the Frank jeans (mid rise, straight leg) and I'm thrilled with the result. I really enjoyed the class and learnt a lot from it. It was very easy to pick up where I'd left off (jeans made over a month or so) and the fact that you left in little mistakes and showed how to fix them rather than pretend they'd never happened was very comforting!! They aren't perfect but are better than if I'd done it on my own. Will definitely follow along for the next pair I make. Thanks!

This was a great course! It took me forever to decide to buy it because it's not that hard to find all the steps on YouTube.. but I'm so glad I got it in the end! The videos by Heather are great and the class support on the forum is excellent, with personalized fit advice! I picked Frank but the instructions are universal and I'll be referencing the videos a lot for all my makes!

Male here with a passion for sewing my garments. This course solved how to sew jeans (I have been trying for years). I followed the course's pattern - called Frank for my wife (fits perfectly) and then used a men's pattern (from Wardrobe By Me. ClosetCore have no men's patterns. YET...). I adjusted it to fit the video instructions. I sewed 2 pairs for me by now and that is what I wear.
I'm proud that I finally understand how to sew a jeans zipper. The course also teaches the buttons only fly. Now I can even sew jeans with zipper for my children, using the same course's videos.
This is a skill for life. Which I can pass on in my family and in the local community. I have got a lot of sewing options to try out.
I wish more people will sew their garments. I also sew buttoned shirts, and ClosetCore have a great course about them too (I learned it before taking that course, but it enhances my skills).
This jeans course is a remake of a 10 year older video course. I bought it then, but could not make anything with it. It was filmed again now, after 10 years of better knowledge, experience and better in every way. I you want to sew jeans, you just found out how.

I bought this course because I wanted to make the Frank jeans and thought it would be helpful. It has been such a great resource as I have been going through the process. Heather is a pleasure to listen to and she provides so many helpful tips and tricks. I’m so glad I bought this and I am sure I will refer back to it in the future. The Frank pattern is also excellent and very versatile. I have enjoyed this course so much and I am now keen to do another Closet Core course.

I cannot say enough good things about this class. Heather is so knowledgeable, hilarious, compassionate, and encouraging. Making jeans without this class would have been about fifty times harder, and I'm not sure I would have finished them. But thanks to this class, I MADE A PAIR OF JEANS!!!! I still can't believe it!!! Heather provided so many little tips and tricks not included in the pattern, and seeing these sewn on video, where I could rewind and rewatch over and over was a huge asset for a visual learner like me. This was a wonderful class. I am an experienced clothes sewist, but new to jeans and pants. This class offered the perfect detailed instructions with tips and advice. Heather's deep experience sewing jeans and invaluable information about fabric, supplies and tools helped me complete one of the most satisfying projects I've had in a while. Heather also gave permission to leave some imperfections -- she's right that these don't detract from the joy at wearing them. Already made a second pair.
