Lightweight, neutral fabric that was a dream to sew. I made the Deer and Doe Plantain top - perfect!
The fabric arrived quickly. It is a really nice deep brown colour. I found some difficulty cutting curves with it as it shifted around quite a bit. However, it was very easy to sew with. I made a pair of pleated pants with it, and they turned out fantastic.
I could follow it and make the pants. First pants I made in 58 years!
This poplin shirting fabric was exactly what I was looking for. It washed well with minimal shrinkage and retained its crisp hand while still mailable to sew around Princess seams, armholes and necklines.
A great kit with just the right amount of webbing to make the core bag! Will purchase again.
