Lilas is a romantic, feminine dress that shifts effortlessly from casual to elegant depending on your choice of fabric. It features a fitted bodice shaped with sculpting vertical seams; fully lined, the bodice can be made in three cup sizes. Lengthening skirt panels gently flare out from the hip down, with pockets inserted at the side seam. The dress is secured with an invisible zipper at center back.
- View A is a sweetheart-necked midi-length dress with full sleeves that finish with built-in fabric ties below the elbow. Elastic channels help the sleeves lay close to the body around the shoulder and chest.
- View B is a fitted mini-length sundress with straps that tie at the shoulder.

- Midweight wovens with moderate structure, such as linen, cotton broadcloth, chambray, eyelet, voile, seersucker and gingham.
- Lightweight bottomweights with some drape may also be used for a more structured effect.

How to Use Your PDF Pattern
From download to cut fabric in four simple steps — no guesswork, no resizing surprises.
DOWNLOAD
Download your files right after checkout, from your confirmation email, or anytime from your account. Every pattern includes a print-at-home, projector, and large-format copy shop file.
PRINT
Print the file at “Actual Size” or 100%, never “Fit to page.” Print the first page and measure the test square with a ruler before printing the rest.
ASSEMBLE
Follow the numbered rows and match up the grey circles and borders, then tape or glue your pages together. Our newer patterns are trimless; older patterns need to be trimmed on the right and bottom edge.

FAQ
How do I print my PDF pattern?
All of our patterns come in a Letter/A4 format (for printing on a home printer) and 36"x48"/A0 format (for printing at a copyshop). Some patterns also come in a projector format. Please check the INFO+ tab under the description to see page counts and file formats available.

How do I download my PDF Pattern?
First, we suggest creating an account in our shop so you can access all your files in one place at any time!
After you place an order, you will land on a page with a custom download link. You can download your pattern then, or use the link included in the order confirmation sent via email. If you don’t receive a download link via email, please check your junk mail as it may have been rerouted (and add us to your safe senders list so it doesn't happen again!)
Am I charged for taxes?
All Canadians are charged GST and possibly PST depending on where they live in Canada. We do not charge taxes in the US.
Customers based in the EU and UK will also be charged VAT on all goods. Prices are VAT inclusive. Regulations have changed in recent years requiring VAT to be collected based on where the customer resides (and not where the company is located) so we are legally required to collect and remit VAT even though our company is based in Canada. You can read more about the VAT regulations here.
What currency will I be charged in?
Use the dropdown at the top of our menu to choose USD, CAD, AUD, GBP, or EUR dollars to view prices and checkout in the currency of your choice.
For AUD currency, the price you'll see is linked to the daily exchange rate between USD and your currency, which means prices may fluctuate. For our Canadian, EU and UK, customers, we have established set prices that will not vary with exchange rates.
What is your return policy?
We cannot issue refunds on digital goods like PDF patterns and courses if they have been downloaded or watched. If you have not downloaded your file and would like a refund, please contact us.

I highly recommend the video instructions as they contain lots of suggestions for high quality finishes that aren’t in the written instructions. Written instructions are my preference so I wish they had the same detail as the video (thus the 4 stars). Thanks for a great pattern!
The pattern is perfect
J’ai fais les deux versions, le rendu est élégant et confortable. C’est une des coutures qui m’a prise le plus de temps en préparation car je n’avais jamais fait de ´bustier’ heureusement tout est très bien expliquée et rien n’est très compliqué. Comme toujours en couture il faut juste de la patience et de l’application.
Love it! One thing though, the pockets are really low. Did I make a mistake?
